So far I have not had any bad experiences while sending a barrel to Jamaica. However I do have a question. Where can I receive help in sending items to Jamaica for disaster relief and food and clothing outreach to Jamaicans? Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

      Hi Christine

There are guidelines on the importation of items for charitable purposes. I am wondering if you have a particular entity that you want to send the items to, or if you intend to ‘hand them out’ yourself?

You can find information at the Jamaican Customs website regarding shipping donations / charitable goods.

You didn’t mention where you were shipping the items from, but the British High Commission gives has this information about charitable shiping.

      Hope this helps!

      Bless up Jules
